free privacy policy generator
If you haven’t heard, and if you use google adsense, then you must know that google changed the adsense TOS. Now, all publishers are required to have a privacy policy. And many of you will search for a free privacy policy generator. I sure did searched :p
Here is a short paragraph regarding this:
“You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your users’ browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website. Your privacy policy should also include information about user options for cookie management.”
I will “write” (more search thant write lol) a proper privacy policy for my sites. Google doesn’t specify a time frame, or what consequences publishers may have. I honestly don’t think they will terminate the account without warning you, and let you fix the issue…
This ain’t a big deal to small publishers like me , that have only a handful of sites. But for those Big publishers with thousands of sites, this can be a pain in the ass…
And btw, have you heard of my 3000 entrecard contest running? The deadline to participate is next week, and so far i haven’t reached the minimum number of participants! Apply and bring your friends ![]()

IMO, Google should have a privacy policy generator for us to use. Not many webmasters know exactly how to go about creating one, and sometimes you even must contact a lawyer.
If they are going to enforce it, they should at least offer SOMETHING for the fish to bite on.

hum, i agree with you.
But think like this. If you were the owner of a company similar to google would you like the publishers to use a privacy policy written by you? or would you prefer a Privacy policy written by the publisher?
i would prefer the publisher to write their own, but has we know how things are, 99% of the webmasters will just copy and paste a PP from someone else, and probably won’t even read it…
The best option was maybe, google give small text regarding only to its services so that we could attach to a PP that we could arrange..
